Ladybug Frenzy

Ladybug, Ladybug fly away home!

This was probably the easiest, most gratifying quilt I've ever made. ;)  Well, one of them at least.  Strip piecing is super easy.  But I love the blocks the best.  I reversed one of them so the strawberries are the outer border, and pink solid in the middle. ;) It's my favorite.

And these sweet little ladybugs love Heather Ross' strawberries as much as we all do!  Yummy!

See why I call it Ladybug Frenzy?  LOTS and LOTS of these little ladies everywhere!

Quilt Stats:
Measures approx. 46 x 49
Various prints in reds, oranges, pinks and yellow
And of course, HR strawberries
Let us not forget a stripe-y binding makes for the finishing touch

  5. I love that the dark red polka dot is not repeated at the bottom - I have this thing for a wee bit of 'rebel' in the colours of the quilt. That reverse block tickles me too! What a beauty, who is the lucky recipient.

  8. oooh, girl! I love it! So cute and fun. The strawberries look better how you did them, that way you get to see more of them. You can't have too many in my book:) Super cute fabrics.

  13. Such a darling quilt! Good call, moving the strawberries to the outside. The more strawberries, the better!
